Miami-Dade Beacon Council – One Community One Goal
Today Malbelys Gonzalez attended the Miami-Dade Beacon Council One Community One Goal event at Marlins Park. Business, education, and economics in Miami-Dade were discussed. It was proudly announced that Miami-Dade County was the #1 county in Florida to create the most jobs last year. Among the speakers were Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez, Miami-Dade School Board Superintendent Alberto M. Carvalho, President and CEO of the Florida Chamber of Commerce Mark Wilson, and FIU President Mark B. Rosenberg.
